Tarabuco - Full Day with public bus

Tarabuco is a colonial village located 64 kms from Sucre, 1 ¼ hrs. by car.
Every Sunday there is the most colorful and sprawling markets of South America which features high quality craftsmanship like Charangos, Ponchos, pullovers and weavings.
Its dances, music, dresses and traditions keep the Inca (Quechua) culture alive.

Tarabuco is also famous because of its Pujllay (Tarabuco’s Carnival), this fest commemorates the battle of March 12 of 1816 in which the villagers defended themselves under the leadership of Doña Juana Azurduy de Padilla, and liberated the town from Spanish forces.
